Nelumbium
These magnificent plants produce huge flowers that rise up on strong stems high above the water-line. The leaves also rise high out of the water and resemble giant nasturtium leaves. Lotus make spectacular plants for a sunny spot in the garden. They grow well in water bowls with a diameter of at least 50cm. They flower from December to February
